Lead Educational Excellence as a Department Head

This pivotal role focuses on shaping and advancing educational direction. As a passionate leader, you will foster a collaborative environment that cultivates strong relationships with students, staff, and key stakeholders.

In the secondary years, we operate multi-age classes, enabling flexible curriculum delivery, differentiated instruction, and a collaborative learning environment.

As a leader in education, you will play a crucial role in shaping the school's curriculum priorities, aligning them seamlessly with both school and departmental initiatives. You will contribute to the broader vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, driving excellence through the development of high-quality teaching and learning practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing, articulating, and committing to a shared educational vision
  • Setting high standards for student and staff performance
  • Forming partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups
  • Embedding General Capabilities and Cross Curricular Priorities into the curriculum
  • Aligning three levels of curriculum planning to the Australian Curriculum and the K-12 Framework
