Job Summary

A leading asset management company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their Client Account Services team as a Junior Fund Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Client Account Team with the processing and managing of rebates related to Australian Unit Trusts provided to new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the end-to-end fund rebate process for Australian Unit Trust clients, including preparing instructions to transfer agencies and internal departments, setting up rebate records, and preparing client rebate statements.
  • Reconcile client accounts to internal systems/records and confirm any missing information with Client Account Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest enhancements to the quality and effectiveness of rebate-related processes and customer service.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in fund operations from a fund manager, custodian, or fund services firm.
  • Knowledge of Unit Trusts and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
