Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Aged Care Funding Specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for visiting residential aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool.
This is a permanent part-time position located in Adelaide, with the opportunity to work with a diverse and widely located team. You will be required to travel to regional and remote facilities, with the potential for overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes across the Metropolitan North and Yorke, Lower North & Barossa aged care planning regions (ACPR)
- Provide comprehensive training and support to ensure successful implementation of the AN-ACC assessment tool
- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced aged care professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
- Travel to regional and remote facilities, with the potential for overnight stays
- 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist in the aged care sector
- Current, general, unrestricted Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Valid driver's license and reliable car
- Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environments or circumstances
- Willingness to travel to regional and remote facilities
- Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team
- Meet all Department of Health and Aged Care Vaccination requirements
- Highly attractive salary - $104,550 salary p.a. + super
- Permanent part-time position
- Full training provided in the use and application of the AN-ACC assessment tool
- All technical equipment, including laptop and phone
- Reimbursement of travel expenses
