Asset Inspection Role

The role of Asset Inspector is a critical component in the maintenance and upkeep of electrical assets within our distribution networks.

As an Asset Inspector, you will be responsible for collecting data related to asset inspection, using digital equipment and software, and ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing asset inspection programs within timeframes, ensuring safe work practices, and maintaining high quality standards
  • Proficiently using digital tools, such as cameras and software, to collect and record data
  • Ensuring all equipment, vehicles, and materials are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order
  • Delivering timely reports on project progress, quality standards, and work practices

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in asset inspection or a related field
  • Operational hands-on experience in the area of expertise
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal customers and suppliers across all levels of the business

Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Asset Inspection or equivalent
  • White Card (construction Induction card)
  • ESI Worker Card (VESI training as per VESI Matrix for Asset Inspector)
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
