We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of School Psychologist in Darwin, Northern Territory.

  • Develop and implement psychometric assessments to inform tailored support for students and schools, ensuring every individual has access to equal opportunities.
  • Advocate for inclusive practices aligned with Australian Government policies and disability standards.
  • Design and deliver professional learning initiatives that empower school staff to adapt teaching methods and cater to diverse student needs.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to families and communities on addressing behavioral, social, and emotional learning challenges.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to apply psychological knowledge and drive improvements in student wellbeing, learning, and behavior outcomes.
  • Offer recommendations for Educational Adjustment Plans to optimize student success.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility to register as a Psychologist in Australia.
  • Knowledge of current Australian Government policies and an understanding of supporting students with additional needs.
  • Awareness of the social, economic, and cultural diversity within the Northern Territory.
  • Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting screeners and diagnostic assessments to guide student support.
  • A valid Northern Territory Driver's Licence and a current Ochre Card.
