Job Title: Academic Support Specialist

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic success of students with diverse needs. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and guidance to staff on implementing policies and procedures related to student education.

The Faculty Coordinator-Supported Learning works closely with the College Leadership Group to support staff in their roles, promoting inclusive practices and improving student outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing programs to enhance student engagement and improve academic performance.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create and implement curriculum design that caters to diverse student needs.
  • Providing professional development opportunities for staff to develop their skills and knowledge in supporting students with diverse needs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Education or a relevant field such as special education.
  • Senior Teacher 1 experience and qualifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders.
Working Conditions
