Fleet Supervisor

As a key leader within our organization, you will have the opportunity to oversee a team of drivers and ensure the daily operations of the fleet are executed efficiently.

This role offers a unique chance to develop your leadership skills, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in operational costs.

You will be responsible for scheduling and allocating resources effectively, maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders, customers, and drivers, and communicating proactively around planning, runs, and delays.

  • Lead a dedicated team of drivers to optimize daily fleet operations, including scheduling and allocation.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, customers, and drivers.
  • Effectively communicate with drivers and customers regarding planning, runs, and delays.
  • Conduct proactive assessments to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage payroll, driver performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing.
  • Utilize analytical skills to plan resources and optimize load planning.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a Fleet Supervisor or Controller position within transportation and logistics.
  • A strong understanding of OH&S, CoR, and NHVR regulations.
  • Familiarity with SAP, MT Data, WMS, or TMS systems.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
