Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee the daily operations of our purpose-built childcare centre in Roselands, Southwest Sydney. As Director of Early Childhood Education, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative programs that foster a culture of enquiry and learning.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Program Development: Design and implement centre programs, systems, and operational processes to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure timely completion of reporting requirements and adherence to licensing, legislation, and regulations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, families, children, and staff.
  • Staff Support and Guidance: Provide effective support, guidance, and mentoring to staff members.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the centre's budget and expenditure within established parameters.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure the centre operates within its policies and procedures.
  • Roster Management: Organize rosters and staffing effectively.
  • Professional Development: Manage and guide staff with their professional development and individual goals.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with 2 years of experience as a Centre Director.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience in leading a team of professional staff.
  • The ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations.
