We are seeking a visionary leader to manage and develop a 70-place Early Childhood Education center in Newtown. As the Director, you will be responsible for daily operations, program development, and staff mentoring.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing center programs, systems, and operational processes for successful center management.
  • Monitoring and maintaining reporting requirements, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintaining and developing positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Developing open and professional relationships with families, children, and staff.
  • Providing effective support, guidance, and mentoring to staff members.
  • Managing center budgets and expenditures within the budget framework.
  • Ensuring center operations adhere to policies, procedures, licensing, and legislation requirements.
  • Organizing and managing rosters and staffing.
  • Guiding staff with professional development, goals, and performance.

Requirements for the position include:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA.
  • 2 years of experience as a Center Director.
  • A current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis Training, and Asthma Management Training.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
