About This Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team in Wagga Wagga. As a Companion Carer, you will work closely with clients who require support with daily activities, companionship, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care that respects clients' rights and needs
  • Assist with daily errands, companionship, and support
  • Engage in social, recreational, or academic activities with clients
  • Prepare meals as needed
  • Monitor and report changes in client health and wellbeing
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Gain experience working with individuals experiencing cognitive decline
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new challenges

The role involves working varied shifts, including night and day rotations, requiring sleepover experience.
