The disability support worker is responsible for implementing, training, and support services and maximising people's living, employment, social, and recreational skills with a disability. community inclusion, independence, decision making, and personal choice should be promoted through support, focusing on individual needs.

We need Female Support Workers.

Selection Criteria

  • Must be Committed to promoting empowerment, respect, dignity and inclusion when supporting participating and carers.
  • Good Communication skills with developed interpersonal skills.
  • Must have high level of spoken English with understanding of local sayings and references.
  • Driving's License, car and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid & CPR
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • New Worker NDIS Induction Module
  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability Studies or related fields (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability and skill to use person-centred care
  • Possess well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a team member.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $32.88 per hour
