Job Title: HGV Truck Mechanic

Experience the thrill of working on Scania trucks and heavy vehicles We are seeking a skilled HGV Truck Mechanic to join our team in Griffith, NSW. As an experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and repairs on Scania trucks and other heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair Scania trucks and trailers
  • Scheduled maintenance of heavy vehicles to ensure optimal performance
  • Mechanical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for Scania trucks and heavy vehicle fleets
  • Repair and maintain heavy vehicle equipment, focusing on Scania trucks
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in the workshop environment
Vehicles Handled by Truck Mechanics:
  • Scania Prime Movers and Main Fleet
  • Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Western Star, Volvo
  • Rigid trucks and specialized vehicles
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
  • Certifications for diesel mechanics (Australian Cert III or international equivalent)
  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in Scania truck maintenance and heavy vehicle repairs
  • Valid driver's license and proficiency in English
Skills and Attributes:
  • Expertise in Scania trucks and heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Experience in heavy vehicle servicing and Scania truck repairs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document vehicle servicing
Working Conditions:
