Job Description:

As a Barista at L'épi Artisan Bakery, you will be at the heart of our coffee culture, crafting exquisite beverages that delight the senses. We are looking for a talented individual who not only has a deep understanding of coffee but also possesses the artistry to create visually stunning drinks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages to our high quality and presentation standards.

• Master the use of espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment for precise brewing.

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions, and making recommendations.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.

• Create latte art and visually appealing designs on beverages, enhancing the overall experience.

• Handle cash transactions and accurately operate the point-of-sale system.

• Assist with maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

• Stay informed about coffee trends, brewing methods, and our menu offerings.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a barista in a cafe setting is preferred.

• Passion for coffee and an eagerness to share your knowledge with customers.

• Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.

• Attention to detail and commitment to creating consistently excellent beverages.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
