Director of Underwriting Strategy

As a senior leader in underwriting, you will drive strategic growth and excellence for Motor Fleet products. You will develop and embed underwriting strategies that align with our business objectives, leveraging market insights to enhance our proposition.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of underwriting strategy and excellence for Motor Fleet products, ensuring profitable growth in line with our underwriting strategy and guidelines.
- Partner with Technical teams to deliver Motor Fleet underwriting strategies and improve underwriting excellence using market, competitor, and broker insights.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge and experience in Motor Fleet underwriting and general insurance industry.
- Manage and lead multi-layered organisations, providing coaching, education, and communication to support team members.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Motor Fleet underwriting and general insurance industry.
- Detailed understanding of account and reinsurance structures.
- Extensive experience in people-leader roles managing multi-layered organisations.
