As a Category Leader at Asahi Beverages, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and category success. Our organisation is a leading multi-beverage company with a rich history and a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity has arisen due to the recent secondment of the incumbent into a different role within the business. The Category Manager position is a fixed-term contract lasting approximately 12 months.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales teams to ensure category insights and strategy are at the heart of decision-making processes.
- Working closely with Marketing/Marketing insights teams to assist in strategic innovation development and subsequent commercialization.
- Initiating, developing and leading key projects to solve strategic category problems.
- Collaborating with internal teams to translate category strategy into Joint Business Plans, category reviews, NPD engagement decks and range/space recommendations.
You will also be responsible for creating and delivering category sell stories to external customers that link our internal initiatives to external category growth opportunities.
