Electrical Fitter Mechanic Opportunity in Toowoomba

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our Customer Service team in Toowoomba. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing customer connections, undertaking meter installations and upgrades, completing electrical shock investigations, and supplying and voltage problem investigations for both residential and business customers across our network.

Job Summary

This is a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic with experience in meter changes and service replacements. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electricity network.

About the Role
  • You will perform customer connections, undertake meter installations and upgrades, complete electrical shock investigations, and supply and voltage problem investigations for both residential and business customers across our network.

Requirements
  • Queensland Electrical Licencing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
  • Experience in completing meter changes and service replacements.
  • Availability for call out and emergency work.
  • Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
  • C class open Driver's Licence.
Desirable Skills
  • Autorisation as a Meter Re-Connection Officer and/or
  • Autorisation as an Electrical Connection Officer and/or
  • Autorisation as an Advanced Connection Officer.
