Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist (Graduate) to join our Allied Health Services team in Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Physiotherapist to deliver entry-level clinical services across a variety of rotations within our hospital and health service. The role is a fixed-term contract, and you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to deliver high-quality clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver entry-level Physiotherapy clinical services as rostered, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the supervision of a senior Physiotherapist.
  • Participate in professional development activities, service monitoring, quality, and service improvement activities to continually improve Physiotherapy clinical services and patient outcomes.
  • Manage an appropriate caseload using high-level time management and prioritization skills.
  • Provide direction, supervision, and support to Allied Health Assistants.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a demonstrated level of knowledge, expertise, and skill in Physiotherapy clinical service provision, as well as effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team.
