About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team at PACT Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing production support on our plant machinery, including breakdown/troubleshooting, project implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to our production equipment, including electrical controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and optical sorting systems.
  • Assist technicians and machine operators as required to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss production schedules, equipment performance, and maintenance priorities.
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of PLC logic, SCADA, and IO troubleshooting, as well as safety control logic and Australian safety standards.
Requirements
  • A Class Electrical licence
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing production lines
  • Strong knowledge of PLC's, VSD's, HMI's, and associated software
  • Understanding and working with safety systems and standards, including Omron and Pilz
  • A team player with a positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude
  • Able to read and understand ELD's and P&ID's
  • Stock control of relevant electrical spare parts
