Job Opportunity: Qualified Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Electrician to join our team at Visy's Pulp & Paper Mill in Coolaroo, Melbourne. As a key member of our reliability and maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production and continuity of operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment or heavy industrial plant.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Perform self-motivated and diligent work with a strong work ethic.
  • Contribute to a safety-focused and diligent work environment.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of PLC systems and production technologies.
Requirements:
  • A strong background and minimum of 2 years as a qualified Industrial/Maintenance Electrician.
  • A 'A' Grade Electrical License and AUS Recognised Trade Qualification.
  • PLC and Motor Control Knowledge - Troubleshooting.
  • Experience in LV & HV Systems and Switching.
  • Experience with Large DC Motors and AC/DC Systems.
  • Experience in planning for and working on preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
  • Any other Work Licenses include Confined Space, EWP or Forklift are Desirable.
