Disability Support Liaison Specialist

This role presents an opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. As a Local Area Coordinator, you will build strong relationships with individuals, their families, and carers to develop and pursue their goals, exercising control and engagement with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with NDIS-eligible individuals and their families/carers to establish an NDIS plan that supports their objectives through pre-planning, planning, and plan reassessment.
- Leverage individual strengths and capabilities to support the activation of their plan.
- Partner with community-based organisations to increase awareness about the NDIS, its objectives, and promote inclusivity for people with disabilities.
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (can be obtained during application)
- Qualifications in or experience related to disability (desirable)
- Annual Leave each month (full-time staff only)
