Field Service Technician Job Description

The Opportunity:

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and servicing of equipment.

About the Role:

  • You will support with on and off-site inspections of lifting equipment, including testing and tagging.
  • You will inspect and install height safety systems to relevant standards.
  • You will conduct regular maintenance and service repairs on equipment.
  • You will build strong relationships with customers and provide advice on quality products.
  • You will have 100% commitment to personal and business safety.
  • You will be able to liaise with and work on customer sites.

About You:

  • A technical service experience within a manufacturing background is preferred.
  • You will have a customer focus and the ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • You will be able to work in a physically demanding role.
  • You will have clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will be able to work autonomously with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • You will have excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Tickets/licenses including Dogging and Working at heights are highly desirable.
