Vehicle Builder/Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Builder/Fitter to join our team at our manufacturing facility.

This role involves working on various aspects of truck body manufacture and assembly, including fitting attachments and customer special requirements, testing, fault finding, rebuilds and new equipment manufacturing from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and assemble truck bodies
  • Fitting attachments and customer special requirements
  • Testing and fault finding
  • Rebuilds and new equipment manufacturing
Requirements:
  • Experience working on materials handling equipment is advantageous
  • Good mechanical aptitude and hand tools skills are essential
  • Reliability, punctuality, motivation and willingness to take on new tasks are required
  • Commitment to quality and detail is necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required
  • A friendly and positive disposition is essential
  • Ability to use power tools: drill/grinders/saws is required
