Vehicle Body Builder Or Boilermaker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Body Builder or Boilermaker to join our organization in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have exceptional welding skills, the ability to show initiative, and competency in maintenance and repairs of truck bodies and trailers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for working cohesively in a positive work environment, as well as independently. They will also have the opportunity to work on various projects, including the manufacturing of tippers, flat trays, and pig trailers.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional welding skills
  • Able to show initiative
  • Competency in maintenance and repairs of truck bodies and trailers
  • Competency in the manufacturing of tippers
  • Competency in the manufacturing of flat trays
  • Competency in the manufacturing of pig trailers
  • A willingness to learn and diversify skillset
  • Attentive learner and detail orientated
  • Experience in building tautliners/curtainsiders an advantage but not necessary
  • Friendly and team minded
  • 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices encouraged to apply

Requirements:

  • Welding experience: 1 year (required)
  • Driver Licence (preferred)
