Senior Medical Practitioner Job

We are seeking a suitably qualified medical professional to fill the position of Senior Medical Practitioner in the Department of Renal and Transplantation Medicine. The successful applicant will have sound clinical knowledge in nephrology, dialysis and renal transplantation, and kidney pancreas transplantation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care and manage complex cases related to renal disease and transplant recipients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects within the department, focusing on improving patient outcomes and advancing medical knowledge
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring junior medical staff to ensure their growth and development as healthcare professionals

Essential Requirements for Appointment:

  • Possess current registration with the Medical Board of Australia and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
  • Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency
  • Hold a current NSW Environment Protection Authority license if required for the role
