Business Operations Manager Job

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational services.

About This Role
  • Operate autonomously to undertake office procedures within well-defined policies, utilising information and management systems to support effective and efficient reporting and administration;
  • Supervise and manage school support staff, monitoring workloads and performance, and role modelling performance standards;
  • Oversee the signatories/approval of timesheets, leave applications, rosters, and arrange relief for school support staff; and organise, undertake and coordinate the recruitment, induction and training of school support staff;
  • Participate in decision making activities of the school management team, particularly with regard to providing input about financial management issues and the efficient and effective provision of corporate services to support school operations;
  • Assist the Principal with budgeting and administer day-to-day financial matters, including accounts payable/receivable, corporate card monitoring, reconciliations, banking.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking day-to-day office procedures, including reception, arranging appointments, correspondence, maintaining school records, and general administration;
  • Managing school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance, identifying workforce capability requirements, and role modelling performance standards;
  • Organising, undertaking, and coordinating the recruitment, induction, and training of school support staff;
  • Providing input on financial management issues and participating in decision-making activities of the school management team;
  • Assisting the Principal with budgeting and administering day-to-day financial matters.
