Our catering service is seeking a passionate and experienced cook to join their team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for residents while maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

About the Role
  • Prepare fresh and nutritious meals for residents with specific dietary needs
  • Manage all resources within the kitchen, including equipment and food supplies
  • Maintain a hygienically clean kitchen that meets quality standards

As a successful candidate, you will possess:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
  • Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
  • Understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
