Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Public Sector Solutions Architecture team in Australia. As a trusted advisor, you will help shape and deliver a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS services within critical strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and lead technical solution discussions with customer teams.
  • Act as a thought leader by educating others, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers or blogs, and running workshops.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to gather customer feedback and shape the direction of our products and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects, potentially coordinating with other teams
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
  • Ability to create proofs of concept, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or using reusable components
  • Experience working with Federal government
  • Able to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications)
  • Hold or be able to attain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance
