Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an Arabic speaking Aged Care Assistant/Domestic Assistant for immediate start in Sydney.

The role involves domestic support, household tasks, meal preparation and personal care assistance. Our clients require assistance with daily living activities and we need someone who can provide a high level of care and support.

About the Role:

  • Domestic support and household tasks
  • Cleaning duties (floors, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, dishes, ironing clothes and changing bed sheets/towels)
  • Meal preparation (adhering to food handling safety guidelines)
  • Assisting with showering and personal care
  • Providing transport assistance and help outside of the home
  • Providing companionship
  • Observing and reporting on changes in the client's health or status
  • Providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Reliable, flexible and able to commit to a variety of shifts
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher is preferred
  • Valid police clearance is required
  • Driver's License is preferred
