We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality customer experience by adhering to work instructions, scheduling road and rail services, planning shipments, and monitoring customer data.
- Adhere to Work Instructions when completing functions.
- Schedule road and rail services, including data entry of EPO for LDC sites serviced by Road and Rail.
- Plan shipments based on availability and customer requests, checking and chasing empty releases with clients/shipping lines if/when required.
- Monitor all LDC email inboxes for warehousing and packing services, ensuring clients always have access and support for their most critical business information.
- Ensure timely turnaround of customer data information flow from packing sites.
- Update LDC Warehousing Management System with packing information supplied by external warehouses.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and rail/logistics coordination. They should possess excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and able to multitask and adapt in a continually changing operating environment.
