Job Title: Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to fill the role of Maintenance Officer in our Facilities team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a variety of tasks and challenges to keep your role engaging and rewarding.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for performing general labouring and handyperson duties to assist with the upkeep and maintenance requirements of the park.

  • You will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Your mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs & maintenance to equipment will be essential in this role.
  • You must also be competent in the use of power tools and possess good physical dexterity to perform physically demanding work.

The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable with excellent communication skills. A manual drivers licence is also required.

This is a full-time role, guaranteeing 38 hours per week. You will enjoy working in a team environment, with the opportunity to make a positive contribution to maintaining the world-class standard of Australia's favourite family theme park.

Requirements:
  • Ability to perform general labouring duties and semi-skilled handyperson tasks;
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or handy person role;
  • A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs & maintenance to equipment;
  • Competent in the use of power tools;
  • Good physical dexterity with the ability to perform physically demanding work;
  • Motivated with an enthusiastic approach to work tasks;
  • Reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A manual drivers licence.
