Role Purpose

The role will be responsible for leading the Corporate Planning Office and overseeing the execution of Capricorn's long-term corporate and business planning processes. The core focus is ensuring that strategic objectives are well-defined and implemented effectively across the organization, with an emphasis on ongoing oversight, optimization, performance monitoring, and benefits realization management.

The role is also responsible for overseeing the development, delivery, and communication of Capricorn's ESG strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve Capricorn's long-term goals.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of Capricorn's ESG strategy.
  • Lead the Corporate Planning Office and ensure effective execution of planning processes.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in organizational strategy development and reporting.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and adaptability to business change.
  • Proficiency in business case writing, benefits tracking, and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated understanding of systems and processes within a complex environment.
  • Project management skills, including methodology, deadline adherence, and budgeting.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Business acumen and results-oriented approach.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce or Business Management or a related discipline.
