Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Geoscientist to join our team in the Industry, Trade and Investment group.

As a Lead Project Geoscientist, you will be part of CarbonNet, a joint initiative between the State and Commonwealth governments to investigate the feasibility of commercial scale carbon capture and storage in Gippsland.

You will be responsible for leading subsurface exploration or development projects, utilizing your geological knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas or CCS. Your geoscientific skills should ideally include seismic interpretation, well correlation, core analysis, petrophysics, subsurface facies analysis and mapping, and well planning and engineering.

The following attributes are preferred: inputs to static and dynamic models and SLB Petrel or competitor software.
