About the Role

Challenge Community Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Frontline Support Specialist to join our Disability Services division. This pivotal role is perfect for a passionate individual who excels in providing high-quality, person-centred support, particularly to clients with complex and multiple support requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans for clients with complex needs, working collaboratively with teams to ensure effective care management.
  • Provide behaviour support and de-escalation strategies to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Lead and mentor staff, promoting a high-performing team culture and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and support networks, ensuring services align with individual goals and promote inclusion.
  • Advocate for client rights and maintain accurate records, ensuring NDIS compliance.
About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Proven experience in high-intensity, person-centred disability support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to model best practices in active support and mentor others.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent.
