Job Title: Landscape Mowing Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Landscape Mowing Team Leader. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing community spaces through landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate modern tools and machinery including zero-turn mowers, brush cutters, and blowers.
  • Perform routine tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control.
  • Plan daily schedules and manage team workflows to ensure safe and efficient task completion.
  • Complete site paperwork including pre-starts, daily reports, Take 5s, and SWMS.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and uphold a professional image.
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems including programming and fault-finding.
  • Monitor plant and soil health conduct testing and apply treatments as needed.
  • Assist with seasonal planting and minor design updates to keep the site looking its best.
  • Identify and report site improvement opportunities or concerns.
  • Ensure Workplace Health and Safety procedures are followed by all team members.
  • Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Help train and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens.
  • Driver's licence (Manual or Automatic).
  • National Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
