About This Role

We are seeking a Positive Behavioural Practitioner to join our team.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse caseload based on your interests and passions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred supports throughout the Peel, Rockingham and South Metro regions.

You will work in partnership with families and support & carer networks, supporting a range of disability-related needs from short-term interventions to complex, long-term needs.

Your expertise as a Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner will be utilised in collaboration with an inter-disciplinary team including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, exercise physiologists, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Person-Centred Supports: Provide high-quality supports to individuals with disabilities, prioritising their needs and goals.
  • Work Collaboratively: Partner with families, support networks, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Support Complex Needs: Address a range of disability-related needs, from short-term interventions to ongoing support.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's degree qualification (OT/Speech Pathology/Psychology/Social Work, etc.)
  • Working Requirements: Working with children check, valid West Australian drivers' licence, reside in and hold full working rights in Australia.
  • Experience: Experience in the allied health sector working with NDIS participants and knowledge of NDIS framework.
