Deliver Mission-Critical Solutions as a Senior Project EngineerIn this challenging role, you will join our Project Delivery team to deploy, configure, and support cutting-edge software that enhances the performance of complex energy networks.Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering expertise.
  • Evaluate client needs and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Design, build, integrate, test, and commission power utility SCADA systems for energy transmission, generation, or distribution utilities.
  • Conduct thorough testing and resolve identified issues during factory and site acceptance testing and regression testing involving product, infrastructure, and communications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives across local staging and IT infrastructure, delivery, training, and support processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to sales and solutions engineering teams as required.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field of engineering with preferably more than 3 years of experience in the electric utility industry and project experiences in automation/SCADA.
  • Strong foundation in automation and computers with knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML, and XML.
  • Familiarity with networking and operating systems to perform troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, reporting, and planning skills.
  • Able to influence others to achieve objectives efficiently.
  • Strong commitment and customer focus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest in technology and continuous improvement.
  • Will to work on-site and prepared to travel to customer sites across the region when required.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent resident with full working rights within Australia.
