Product Support Advisor

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Product Support Advisor in Tom Price. If you are a personable professional with a passion for customer service and successful project delivery, this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be the first point of contact for the company, responsible for supporting globally renowned major accounts and valued customers in the region. As a brand ambassador, you will promote Hitachi's service and parts components to deliver total customer satisfaction and maintain a high level of service and support.

Your personality and charismatic character will be key to success when dealing with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer success stories.

  • Safety Commitment – Proactive awareness and commitment to exercising a high standard of precaution and duty of care to yourself and others around you.
  • Technical Knowledge – Providing holistic technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components for Hitachi's excavator fleet.
  • Project Coordination – Meeting deadlines through planning and execution of shutdowns, working collaboratively with the Service Department to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Trade Qualified – Minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or related heavy diesel qualifications or Certificate III in High Voltage Electrical Technology.
  • Leadership – Positively enabling partnerships by actively chasing improvement opportunities and timely resolution of queries.
  • Personable and Professional Communication Skills – Communication and self-organization will be your strength as you plan and prepare relevant documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty, and diagnostic information.
