Facility Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in keeping our facilities clean and well-maintained.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and demonstrate a high level of integrity.
- Clean and supply designated building areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restroom cleaning.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities, documenting any issues or needs for repairs.
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as required.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs, making adjustments and minor repairs as necessary.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms, ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Collaborate with the rest of the staff to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Proven working experience as a Janitor or in a similar role.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Integrity and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
