Job Role:

The Factory Controller position at a leading manufacturing facility involves supporting the Factory Manager as a trusted partner in driving day-to-day and long-term strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities, ensuring project completion and realizing savings, and analyzing key factory cost drivers to inform decision-making.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating reporting of actual costs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and providing early warnings to stakeholders in case of major cost deviations.

  • Lead cost improvement initiatives to optimize factory efficiency.
  • Validate and review projects to ensure completion and realization of savings.
  • Analyze key factory cost drivers and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  • Coordinate reporting of actual costs and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide early warnings to stakeholders in case of major cost deviations.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, experience in costing and distribution/supply chain, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in costing, distribution/supply chain, and decision support.
  • Manufacturing costing experience, ideally within a factory or supply chain environment.
  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Excellent Excel, SAP, and reporting tools skills.
  • Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
