Job Title: Process Engineer Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Process Engineer to work within our engineering department to develop advanced engineering concepts and guide the implementation of novel mineral processing technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of experts and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking engineering modeling, design, and project management tasks on projects both in the office and on site.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hydrometallurgy, working with complicated engineering projects, and a strong understanding of industrial process operations. A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or metallurgy is required, along with at least 8 years of experience in design, commissioning, and operational experience of hydrometallurgical processing equipment.


About the Role
  • Develop and implement advanced engineering concepts to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with management and engineering teams to develop and test new novel technologies.
  • Compile Process Flow Diagrams and associated mass and energy balance calculations.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as required to deliver documentation and design for large mineral extraction projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in crystallisation, fluidised bed, mineral leaching or carbonation and RO/IX design and operations.
  • Knowledge/Experience in scoping and management of metallurgical test work programs (bench-scale, pilot-scale, on-site testing).
  • Strong understanding of industrial process operations and ability to apply this knowledge to improve process efficiency.
