Underground Service Locator

The role involves locating services such as power, communications, water, gas, sewer, drainage, and underground storage tanks. This position requires adherence to OH&S and quality policy guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Locate and identify underground services (power, communications, water, gas, sewer, drainage) and underground storage tanks.
  • Work independently on local projects and contribute to national projects as needed.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects within company OH&S and quality guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the national surveying team when required.
Skill Requirements:
  • Proven experience in underground service locating.
  • Construction white card.
  • Driver's license.
  • Before You Dig Certified Locator (preferred).
  • Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards and legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
