About the Role:

As a Chief Communications Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our communications vision across internal and external audiences.

You will work closely with senior leadership teams and stakeholders to strengthen our corporate reputation, engage key stakeholders, and position us as a leader in the payments and fintech sectors.

This is a high-profile, influential role for a communications professional with exceptional judgment, strategic insight, and a proven ability to advise senior executives in complex environments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of our integrated communications strategy to support corporate objectives, enhance brand reputation, and build market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business, finance, and technology journalists, as well as industry stakeholders.
  • Lead issues management and crisis communication response, ensuring timely, accurate, and aligned messaging.
  • Oversee all-company communications, including monthly town halls, weekly newsletters, and intranet content, to drive engagement, transparency, and connection.
  • Craft compelling narratives for executives, including speeches, talking points, and thought leadership content that positions us as a fintech and payments innovator.

Requirements:

  • Senior Corporate Communications leadership experience, ideally in finance, technology, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience working in or with ASX-listed companies, with a strong grasp of disclosure requirements and investor-facing communications.
  • Proven success advising and influencing CEOs, executives, and Boards.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships that deliver business results.
