The Strategic Commercial Advisor will play a key role in driving the commercial success of Fremantle Ports by developing and executing strategies to positively position the organization with commercial customers. This role will require strong stakeholder management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships across the Fremantle Ports ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Commercial Strategies: Develop and execute marketing and engagement activities to amplify the Commercial and Customer division's mission.
- Customer Engagement and Support: Triage and respond to customer inquiries and feedback professionally and promptly, monitoring and reporting on completion in the risk and incident management system.
- Change Management: Apply change management methodologies to plan, design, and implement effective change management with stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate and facilitate the execution of standard commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring these are effective and maintained with appropriate documentation in place.
- Risk and Opportunity Identification: Identify, analyze, and inform key stakeholders of potential financial, legal, and performance obligations and risks associated with contracts.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop, analyze, monitor, and improve reporting metrics to ensure the consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency of the supply chain.
- Tertiary Qualification and Experience: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or 5+ years relevant experience.
- Commercial Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience in strategy development, marketing, and all aspects of stakeholder management. Knowledge of commercial principles through experience working in a commercial environment will be highly regarded.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Commercial contract and agreement negotiation experience.
