About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Solutions Architect to support the investigation and pursuit development of new business opportunities. Working closely with the Business Development Director and key technical and commercial stakeholders, the Technical Solutions Architect will design, propose, and create implementation plans for solutions that are robust, secure, scalable, and tailored to clients' needs.
The remit of this role is challenging and diverse. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, your activities will be centred around understanding and analysing business objectives, client needs, and technical challenges, in order to develop efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet project requirements and align with the business's strategic roadmap.
Key Responsibilities- Lead requirement definition sessions to understand client needs and technical challenges
- Translate conceptual needs into defined architectures
- Prepare review presentations and artefacts
- Create and maintain architecture documentation
- Assist with the development of technology product roadmaps
- Provide general solution advisory to established clients
- Tertiary qualifications in a business or technical field
- Proven experience in engineering solution development and related methodologies
- Experience in the Defence domain is advantageous
- Demonstrated trusted relationship building and networking experience
- Conversant with succinct brief writing and delivery of corporate presentations
- Highly developed analysis and inferencing capabilities
- Successful history in similarly complex engineering environments
