What's the job?
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Sydney Potts Point. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel's equipment and facilities operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include performing routine and preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and lighting.
What we need from you
- Demonstrated experience in general building maintenance, engineering, and/or construction
- Qualifications in Trade, e.g., electrician, carpenter, plumber, painter, is advantageous
- Guest-focused – understanding the worksite is a 24/7 operation
- Look smart – adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
- A high energy level and passion for achieving results, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
- You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia
