Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead our horticultural operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale agricultural or fresh produce operations and a proven track record of driving success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

  • About the Role:
  • Lead and coordinate daily operations across nursery, farm, lab, and packhouse teams to ensure seamless production flow and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement seasonal production plans, crop scheduling, and resource allocation to meet yield and quality targets.
  • Manage and mentor diverse teams, including growers, lab technicians, and packhouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to inform business decisions and drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate with agronomists, supply chain, and management to support strategic goals and resolve operational challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years preferred) managing large-scale horticultural or fresh produce operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of propagation, crop production, post-harvest processes, and laboratory support functions.
  • Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
