About the Role

We are currently recruiting compassionate and experienced care professionals to join our home health program as Home Care Support Workers. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

Salary & Benefits

You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of $32.56 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation, and a generous travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre plus paid travel time. You will also have access to a stable roster, opportunities to work extra hours, and a fully supported induction program.

About the Job

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care such as assisted dressing, bathing, and toileting;
  • Assisting with daily living activities like meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning;
  • Transporting clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings;
  • Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations, and providing ongoing support and training;
  • Maintaining safety practices adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of both yourself and our clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current Australian driver's license and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle;
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar industry and/or a certification in care;
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday and Friday;
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 with a minimum of two doses; and
