At Australian Unity, we deliver comprehensive in-home support services to empower our aged care customers to live independently within their own homes and communities.

We are recruiting dedicated Home Care Support Workers for various locations surrounding Chester Hill, Bass Hill, Yagoona, Regents Park, Bankstown, Villawood, Sefton, Chullora, Greenacre, Punchbowl, Lakemba, Roselands, Riverwood, Beverly Hills, Kingsgrove, Belfield, Campsie, Croydon Park, Canterbury, Earlwood, East Hills, Padstow, Revesby, Milperra, Panania, Narwee.

A Competitive Offer:

  • Permanent Part-time contracts available, allowing you to balance your work-life with flexibility between Monday and Friday.
  • Earn a highly competitive hourly rate of $31.74 - 32.56 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation guarantee.

Your New Role:

  • Support at Home: assist with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and assisted dressing.
  • Transportation Services: provide transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Personal Care: experienced staff will help with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, mealtime assistance, and medication prompting.
  • Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and their families, conduct client observations, and provide ongoing support and training.
  • Safety Practices: adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of yourself and our customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a current Australian Driver's License and own a reliable insured vehicle.
  • possess minimum 6 months experience in a similar industry or hold a relevant Certification in Care.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work during weekdays.
  • All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two doses.

  • Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic, Lebanese, Greek is valued but not mandatory.
