About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategically driven Group Business Director to join our team at Publicis Groupe in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth, fostering collaboration, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a portfolio of established and engaged clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships Management: Partner with and build strong trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, acting as their advocate within the agency and the voice of Publicis Groupe externally.
  • Strategic Planning / Creative Direction: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business and strategic goals, contributing, supporting, and evaluating creative work that aligns with these goals.
  • Campaign Management: Brief, collaborate, and oversee the implementation and delivery of integrated campaigns across the client portfolio.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to develop integrated solutions that exceed client expectations, while partnering with the executive team on new business prospects and opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Oversee, maintain, and ensure portfolio profitability, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and implementing effective processes.
  • Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in Account Management, preferably within an advertising communications agency environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management techniques, with prior knowledge and experience guiding senior stakeholders.
  • Confident and influential, with a strong strategic and creative point of view.
  • Superb organisational techniques, with a passion for working in a tight-knit, highly engaged team.
