Job Title: Senior AccountantAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in enabling our organization's next phase of growth.

You will become an integral part of our broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow into leadership positions. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Preparation and review of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.
  • Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for various companies and trusts.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events.
  • Provide exceptional service to our clients.

Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar.
  • Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
